Dr. Oliver Höhn

Head of group “III-V Semiconductor Technology”, Division Photovoltaics

Research focus

  • Optical modelling of solar cells, especially highly efficient multi junction solar cells
  • Evaluation of measurements, especially of complex III-V multi-junction solar cells
  • Accompaniment of process development, in particular of process chains for the technological production of III-V solar cells with back-surface mirrors
  • Micro- and nanostructured functional surfaces
  • Large area structure origination by interference lithography
  • Optical and topographical characterization of micro and nanostructured surfaces
  • Wave optical modelling
  • Photon management for optoelectronic devices considering emission processes
  • Modelling and design of complex thin film filters
