Research Focus

The main research focus of Timo Methler M. Sc. includes all aspects of charge reduced propane (R290) vapor compression cycles. The most common application of the results are in the housing sector as main components of heat pumps.
Additionally to the research topics Timo Methler M. Sc. has spent a large amount of time on the automation of heat pump measurements, evaluation, data processing and visualization.

Short Biography

Timo Methler achieved his Masters degree from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in 2018, in the field of Energy Engineering. Previously he studied at four different universities in Europe attaining two Bachelor and an additional Masters degree in process engineering and energy engineering. Before he started his studies Timo Methler finished an apprenticeship as electrician
