Paula Oberfeier

Paula Oberfeier completed her master’s degree in “Business Administration and Engineering: Electrical Power Engineering” with a focus on Operations Research & Management at RWTH Aachen. During her master’s, Paula worked as a scientific assistant at IAEW, where she conducted research on machine learning applications for asset management and renewable energy market analysis. Her Master's thesis focused on anomaly detection in local grid stations. After completing her master’s, Paula started as a Data Engineer at enersis suisse AG, where she managed data pipelines for a Digital Twin and actively contributed to data science projects. Her interest in sustainable energy systems led to her currents position as a researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE, where she focuses on small-scale flexibility resources in decentralized energy systems.
