Most of the energy consumption and the corresponding CO2 emissions occur during the operating phase of buildings and facilities. Tapping into energy efficiency potential during operational management is therefore key for building and plant operators to achieve their sustainability goals. 

As part of the "Cognitive Buildings" research topic, we support you in evaluating, monitoring and optimizing your facilities and buildings using digital methods.
By using technologies such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and digital building twins, which form the backbone of modern and digital building management, we work with you to develop innovative tools and methods. These enable a high level of transparency and efficiency in the operation of your buildings and help you to better meet requirements in terms of cost-effectiveness, comfort and energy efficiency.
