We offer our customers individually tailored support for a targeted development process for solar thermal systems.

For system engineering issues, we use a wide range of simulation programs that enable us to physically model the stationary and dynamic behavior of the systems and thus map even complex systems in the laboratory. Depending on requirements, we use programs that are widely available on the market as well as in-house developments that solve very specific detailed questions in the scientific field. This allows us to respond very individually to the specific development requirements of our customers.

In addition to efficient interconnection of the individual hydraulic components, optimized operation using sophisticated control algorithms is a key focus of our work. We use artificial intelligence methods to generate efficient and easy-to-use control algorithms. We continuously validate our simulation models using our test benches and monitoring in the field. We use methods such as hardware-in-the-loop to carry out controller optimization in the laboratory, for example. This involves coupling the real controller with a virtually represented system. In this way, controller algorithms can be developed, optimized and tested in the laboratory, which considerably reduces the need for field tests.

The integration of solar thermal energy in heating networks will be an important component of the heating transition. Thanks to our experience in the implementation of real demonstration projects and our extensive theoretical knowledge, we are able to develop and evaluate new concepts.
