The transition to renewable energy sources is becoming increasingly urgent, not only for reasons of climate protection, but also in terms of supply and cost security. In the building sector, the main challenge is to provide technical and systemic solutions that address a wide range of stakeholders. Possible solutions include technologies for non-fossil heat generation, transformation concepts for the housing sector, commerce, industry and heat suppliers as well as process optimization through digitalization. In the construction industry, increased productivity can only be achieved through the standardization and digitalization of construction processes, such as those we are developing for standardized PV modules for façade integration.
To ensure an accelerated ramp-up of heat pumps in the building sector with natural refrigerants, we provide technological support for the development of optimized refrigerant circuits and ensure quality through testing in the laboratory and in the field. We are also developing refrigeration circuits and source tapping to enable the increased use of large and high-temperature heat pumps for heating networks and industrial applications. In addition, we are working on integrating the devices into the respective application.
