IAA Mobility Summit 2023

On September 5, 2023, the second edition of the leading mobility platform IAA MOBILITY will kick off in Munich. The focus is on sustainable and intelligently connected mobility solutions. Under the new motto "Experience Connected Mobility," the intelligent networking of vehicles and infrastructure will be brought to life at the IAA MOBILITY.

The largest and most important mobility event in the world offers manufacturers, suppliers, tech companies, service providers and startups a wide range of opportunities to present themselves and their services to a broad international B2B and B2C audience - from downtown Munich to the exhibition grounds.

The aim is to show what will move people tomorrow, from automobiles to micro-vehicles and bicycles to new solutions for public transport. Always in focus: sustainability and the technologies that will shape mobile life in the future.

VIPV-Charger - Technology demonstrator for vehicle integrated photovoltaic

Efficient GaN power electronics for optimal coupling of PV, low voltage battery and HV traction battery. PV energy is first transferred to the voltage level of the low-voltage battery and then raised in pulses to the voltage level of the HV traction battery. This minimizes high standby losses of the HV battery.

Smart PV Junction Box

With the Smart PV Junction Box, commercially available PV modules with an open-circuit voltage of up to 60 V can be connected to form a high-voltage string. Each box independently detects faults in the string and disconnects from the string, causing the max. voltage in the string to fall into the safety extra-low voltage range. No additional communication line is required. Due to the intelligence of the circuit, control can still be provided via the string DC/DC converter.
