Dehumidification

Humidity control in buildings is becoming more and more important as increasing air tightness and diffusion-inhibiting systems complicate a natural exchange.

In addition, humidity control is also gaining in importance in mobility and industry.

We investigate and develop methods for controlled dehumidification, moisture recovery and moisture buffering by thermal and sorptive processes. Here we can use extensive expertise in the development, characterization and processing of sorption materials.

Our R&D services include:

  • Development, measurement and evaluation of components as well as decentralized and small central ventilation units
  • Characterization of ventilation devices
  • Examination of humidification or dehumidification performance
  • Evaluation of sorption-based dehumidification processes
