DyConPV - Simulative comparison

Simulative comparison of an MPC algorithm for the optimization of pulse patterns with conventional PWM-based approach and idealized system without switching character.

The aim of the project is to develop a highly dynamic control technology for the use of high-frequency switched feed-in inverters based on silicon carbide (SiC) semiconductors.

Within the project, a grid-connected inverter demonstrator with fast switching SiC semiconductors and a novel model-based control approach will be developed. The demonstrator should be able to meet both current and future requirements with regard to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and control dynamics or control quality and thus also offer a flexible solution for requirements resulting from changes in the supply grid as part of the energy transition.
