The Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE is currently participating in the World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Reimund Neugebauer, President of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, visited the Fraunhofer ISE booth on the opening day, January 18, 2016.

In 2014, the Institute had won the Zayed Future Energy Prize which lead to the start of the Fraunhofer Zayed Program, which was created in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Executive Board, and is funding international energy R&D projects with Fraunhofer institutes.
