By comparing the actual (measured) and expected (simulated) performance, one obtains valuable information as to whether the PV plant operates as expected. Important input parameters for calculating the Performance Ratio (PR) are the actual solar radiation and the energy yield. Both values must be measured exactly during operation. At Fraunhofer ISE we use reliable measurement devices to obtain data with the highest accuracy.  Using a well-established procedure and a validated methodology, we use the measured parameters to determine the PR.

Our clients expecially value our:

  • highly precise data acquisition system (DAS)
  • exact and reliable determination of the performance
  • compact and understandable analysis and reports drawn up by experienced scientists from Fraunhofer ISE
