Short biography

Arnulf Dinkel studied architecture at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology KIT.
He has successfully applied all kind of renewable energy techniques and efficiency tools during his career as architect. With an extensive operational and technical expertise gained in a number of senior executive roles, he joins Fraunhofer in 2010. His current work is focused on energy efficiency measures in residential and non-residential building stocks and the related needs for efficient components, related controls and the transfer into digital environments. Amongst other projects he contributed the EU project Mapping and analyses of the current and future (2020-2030) heating / cooling fuel deployment and the BMWi project Wissenschaftliche Begleitforschung - EnEff.Gebäude.2050.
