Our R&D services comprise:

Thin-film solar cells made from amorphous (a-Si:H) and microcrystalline (µc-Si:H) silicon are a cost-effective alternative to conventional solar cells or modules. Silicon-based amorphous single, tandem and triple junction cells, as well as a-Si:H/µc-Si:H stacked cells, are commercially available. There is, however, still a considerable need for further research into each cell type, especially with regard to increasing efficiency and reducing manufacturing costs.

Our goal is to develop cell structures with initial efficiencies higher than 16 % and a light induced degradation below 10 %.
