6th European Conference on PV-Hybrids and Mini-Grids
Chambéry, France
Apr 26, 2012
PV-Hybrid Systems and Mini-grids have been developed to find solutions for the electrification of rural regions and islands and provide an enhanced electricity service. This conference will address many exiting topics to find cost efficient solutions for reliable systems.
Fraunhofer ISE and ISAAC organize the workshop "PV-Module Reliabilty" in the framework of the EU-FP7 project SOPHIA in Lugano, Switzerland as part of the 30th anniversary of the PV activities at SUPSI. The workshop should serve as a European platform for the discussion of the main topics of durability testing and collection of the big European experience with production and operation of PV modules in Europe.
High-efficiency wafer-based n-type Si solar cells will play a major role in the future of PV. Knowledge sharing in this field is of primary importance.
With this conference, we will continue the Photovoltaic Specialist's role as the premier technical conference covering all aspects of PV technology from basic material science to installed system performance.
