To reduce the costs of solar electricity power production in the future, an increased amount of large power plants in sunny regions is demanded. At Fraunhofer ISE, we investigate and further develop solar thermal power stations, large photovoltaic systems and concentrating photovoltaic systems. Our competence ranges from the technology and product development through to quality assurance and monitoring. We also address the issues of cost effectiveness and market entry strategies.
